  2. Thanks for this. I believe the one at the very bottom ... Randy Marsh's Pop, Arno Marsh, is with Organissimo. A great set that I snagged in the past. actually I see the Organissimo with Arno Marsh higher up .. so this is more Arno? That should be great.
  3. Seeing that trio on 3/22 at Roulette in Brooklyn
  4. Interesting. I thought I had missed some of it. Thanks for pointing that out.

  7. Gene "Mighty Flea" Conners – Coming Home I do love Black and Blue. Look at that line up! Phoooaar
  8. A compilation of some of the best tracks (in my opinion) from the Old Tunes tapes. This mix was inspired by the idea of an official re-release of these old recordings, which was actually discussed between BOC and Warp Records at one time. Unfortunately, such a thing never came to be.
  9. Sounds pretty good, tenor sax stands out.
  10. Out of/Into, Motion II (Blue Note)
  11. how does it sound? Oh yes that’s how I got my Rules of Freedom copy from a record store in Berlin. I didn’t check Discogs and thought I bought a modern legit reissue. I was in a record store after all. Then at night in my hotel I found out it was a bootleg
  12. The Reform Art Unit With Alaeddin Adlernest
  13. Zoot Sims/Bob Brookmeyer “Whoeeee” Storyville/Muzak cd 448×450 21.2 KB From this 2 cd set:
  14. Miles Davis Quintet “Paris Jazz Festval - Salle Pleyel - 10/1/1964” 2 SACD set from Sony in the 7" packaging series. Disc 1 This is one concert from the recent Sony box set of French concerts, and I enjoy these shows. The SACD may not sound that much different than the cd release, but the subtle difference is audible mainly in dynamic contrast. One of Shorter’s first shows with the Quintet and there’s a sense that the rhythm section is really enjoying supporting hin and prodding him a bit.
