Issued under Wilen's name, but this sure sounds like Kenny Dorham's gig. He announces all of the tunes and almost always takes the first solo spot. But maybe Wilen, Gilbert Rovere, and Daniel Humair were just being gracious hosts? Whatever the backstory, fabulous music.

Fantastic news. Over Christmas, we were watching the Charlie Brown Christmas Tales DVD, which included music I never heard before. Great stuff indeed!
-
In case anyone hasn't seen, all the 'other' Charlie Brown specials records have been being released, sometimes for the first time, over the past year or two. Some are pretty good. They're out on vinyl or available to stream.

Great records from bands on the trad jazz festival circuit

He's on some Lawrence Welk reruns, as is Bob Hastings. And if it's not Hucko, it's Henry Quests, who is not Hucko but who is still a good player. -
Could almost pass for a Modern Jazz Quartet album.

Yeah, I've heard of these titles, specifically here, in great praise, I should just by the Milestone boxset. Haha, You mean like this record?
-
I've always enjoyed etc.'s piano work on that era of Blue Note albums 😀. I guess Thiele was really fussy about his Impulse contract.
