Secret Sauce by Eric Ghost with Lincoln Goines and James McGilveray. Per the Bandcamp write up, Eric Ghost was the alias of Richard Barth Sanders, who apparently invented the paper blotter delivery mechanism for LSD. So a real pioneer I guess.

Which Jazz box set are you grooving to right now?
Brad replied to Cliff Englewood's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
My favorite and go to Bird box is the 8cd Complete Savoy and Dial that Savoy issued. -

He was the epitome of class and oh so knowledgeable. A loss. RIP. -
I too never wonder about anything like that. Moreover, you could say that about anything in your collection, and if your collection is large years could go by before you listen to something again. I have it and it’s one of my favorite Mosaics. I just loved listening to the jams. If that’s not your thing, you might want to take it in small bites. Did you ever listen to the JATP Verve issued of the 49s jams?

Danny Ward & Reality 70s Funky jazz from Seattle

What type of jazz did they play? I'm not familiar with the band name. Do you know when the album was released?

Lots of new managerial hires already. None are marquee names. Interesting!

	This is a great tune

BFT 260 - Tom Turkey's Terrifying Tryptophan 2025 Revenge Tour!!!!!!
JSngry replied to JSngry's topic in Blindfold Test
Exactly! One of his most ephemeral solos, perhaps the most. It is almost inaudible when it ends, dissipating into the mist even more slowly than it enters it. -
Reuben Wilson appears - on piano - in the Schaap archive at Vandy. And backing Gatortail Jackson https://aviary.library.vanderbilt.edu/collections/2137/collection_resources/162818?u=t&keywords[]=reuben There are other recordings as well

Brian's Buried Saxophones. Already with the subliminal sonic details. -
I think Columbia issued similar material?

Reuben looks less than thrilled in that pic

Mosaic JATP 1950s Box
Stompin at the Savoy replied to jazztrain's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
I also get listening ideas from organissimo threads. Sometimes somebody mentions a Mosaic set and I look at it and think hey that looks interesting let me check it out - and discover that I own it! Oops. I love having all this music. -
The liner notes state that it is radio broadcast material from 1937 and seems to be remotely recorded live with an audience. A mixture of the big band and small group. Charlie Christian is only on one small group track. The sound is surprisingly good.

thanks for these recollections... I did not realize he had Parkinson's. it is always sad when we lose a board member. Guy was many things to this community, that's for sure. And his positivity and enthusiasm underscored it all. -

I never listened to any of these albums until recently. I knew about Barbieri from Porcupine Tree, and have had a couple David Sylvian albums for a long time. Karn was certainly a revelation. A shame he's not with us anymore.
