  2. An October release.
  3. It happens every year.
  4. Trying to figure out if we can get to see/hear Wadada's performances. Damn!
  5. Thanks Laz. You'd think I might remember the date.
  6. You are confusing music publishing royalties and artist royalties.
  7. Is there any comprehensive reissue (from original masters) of the classic Spike Hughes material? I first learned of some of this wonderful stuff from an Ace of Clubs lp in the '60s, but this only covered the stuff recorded in NYC with the black stars available.
  8. True. It was corrected for this set
  9. Lena passed away and Ole called 911. The 911 operator told Ole that she would send someone out right away. "Where do you live?" asked the operator. Ole replied, "At the end of Eucalyptus Drive." "Can you spell that for me?" the operator asked. There was a long pause and finally Ole said, "How 'bout if I drag her over to Oak Street and you pick her up dere?"
  10. Probably not much hope for "orphaned" material like the 1957 recording of The Perfume Suite. Since one of the movements was recorded in 1961 they have an out.
  11. Mac is my main computer but I wanted to test Chrome on one of my pcs first. I will never touch it again. Do not trust the googlers.
  12. Why would anyone use Chrome? I tried it for a month on a pc and finally deleted it. I dumped it because one night while closing it, after a fairly long wait, I got a message saying "Chrome isn't finished collecting data" or some such shit. I deleted it asap.
  13. Maybe you guys have been blocked by all participants of the thread.
  14. I do miss Malachi and Lester - two good friends. The best kind of nostalgia.
  15. Wish I could remember what and where but I heard lots of "cult" rumblings back in the day and I had no Texas connections.
  16. So, my grandmother, mother and wife are "farm women". Thanks for assuming "it can't be that hard". Ann has canned blueberry jam the last 2 weeks. She usually does about a dozen types but the weather has destroyed lots of crops.
  17. and I always heard it pronounced "coffee".
