It's still being used but Rudy pretty much stopped cutting vinyl in the late 80's when most record labels dropped vinyl. I have plenty of CDs that were recorded at Rudy's place in the 90s and 00s. Fine recording but I bought it because of Hardman, Cook, etc back when it was released. The RVG connection was at least secondary.

It just meant he used a different tool to mark the lacquer.

Trying to salvage a box set of Charles Ives - it is mildewed and problematic. Great music though.

On our return from NOLA we stopped at 3 Big Lots stores. The first one in LA snickered at a request for cds - "you mean music?". We did find one in Mississippi (along with the Shirley Horn Monterey disc) and another in Alabama. I left another in 'bama. Might check the local (Muskegon, MI) store this week.
