  1. Yeah, well, good luck on that one... While it doesn't genuinely transform a person, I do believe a tattoo can serve as a symbol of an individual's personal growth or sense of liberation from past experiences. You would say that.
  2. John Litweiler reviews the Braxton/McDonough HERE
  3. I just posted a question - not a judgment.
  4. Is all this based on Joel's income?
  5. Have never thought of this "problem". Still don't. None of my wife's friends have a clue about me.
  6. I see you got no responses on Jazzcorner. That might be an answer.
  7. They were intelligent followers, not leaders. Enjoy them for what they were.
  8. A real time/class capsule.
  9. Too many labels and too much music for them to do a sensible set. The Classics and Neatworks take up 19 cds.
  10. I agree.
  11. You assume way too much.
  12. Alexander Hawkins produced a thoughtful piece about the Braxton/McDonough recording HERE.
  13. No payments to artists or owners for a bunch of them. Not much studio cost if you are copying previous issues. You should try this stuff and see how it works.
  14. Hoping to gain control of this date - I still have the 24 track tapes with at least one great extra tune.
  15. Dave obviously has too much free time.
  16. None of the proposals make economic sense. My issues do not make economic sense. We do stuff because we want to, we can and our families have not stopped us. JLH has listed his priorities - pay attention to them and respond accordingly (with some sense of the possible).
  17. The notes to the first volume make a claim for earlier recording dates than those previously published. The PJ catalog is a mess.
  18. So, if something is somewhere on the internet it is free?
  19. Sadly, still gathering historical information for that one. Keep your fingers crossed - the music has been mastered and sounds fine. I want the documentation to reflect the importance of the music.
