  1. No mention of the jazz version of My Fair Lady? This Contemporary session by Previn, Manne and Vinnegar started all this stuff.
  2. Thanks guys. I hope everything arrived safely.
  3. Great clip. Thanks.
  4. How did I know this was coming?
  5. You must be thinking of Joe Holiday.
  6. Might be this guy. He's my buddy. but I think his last name starts with another letter.
  7. Just finished listening to the first 7 sides of the George Lewis Mosaic set. I was burning cds. Great stuff!
  8. From here too. edit for thick fingers.
  9. It all depends how much you "need" to hear the music. After spending tens of thousands of dollars to make my masters sound as fine as they should, I find mp3s an insult. I know the "business" is moving this way and will ultimately "go there" to get the music out to interested (or potentially interested) parties.
  10. Is that a problem for you?
  11. Sounds like you fell into a bad crowd. Most of my friends are not like this. If your search for "artistic friends" fails, look elsewhere. I never sought out "artistic friends" on FB. Open a FB account, wait for folks to find you and make choices.
  12. We have a part of our basement devoted to the remains of my father's Lionel collection.
  13. I say no. These should show up as they do now.
  14. I know it's only the end of the third quarter, but the Bears seem to be kicking Vick's but. OTOH, it is the Bears.
  15. Or OJL.
  16. All the best to both of you and the kids.
  17. All orders received have been shipped.
  18. Up for post-turkey, post-football consideration. I still have a couple hundred left.
  19. They can fill 3 cds before they reach those sessions.
  20. It should include everyhing up to the East of the Sun set.
  21. Thanks to all. I think I've responded to all emails. If I missed you get in touch.
  22. If it's done right, I've been waiting for a set like this for years.
  23. I seem to have excited some folks. Here is the deal: The "artifact" folks should be interested, the "music" folks less so. Riverside lps were not especially well mastered or pressed. I think there are many superior ways to hear this music. That's it.
