    The first one has never had a US issue on cd. Moment of Truth and Portraits have. I am certain TtK was speaking of vinyl. I agree with Skid's post.

    Status records were cheap repressings of old Prestige titles. IIRC the stores I operated paid 65 cents for them. Prestige used existing metal parts and cover art. If they had old print material left over they just slapped Status stickers on the jackets.

    As Uncle Skid will testify, Red is one of my favorites. I have compiled 3 cdrs for the car - one with Henderson/Hawk, one with Luis Russell and one of records under his name. They travel with me.

    Not vinyl, but I spent the afternoon transferring my Konitz Prestige 78s to my hard drive. Missing 3 masters (I think) but the sound is much more dynamic and one take has never been reissued.

    Eclectic, comfortable, interesting, utilitarian. You wouldn't believe the mix of stuff in our house. We are a designer's nightmare.
