  1. I think most MRIs are made to pay for the hospital's investment in the "current technology". Hope it works out for you.
  2. Easily. Would you mind expanding a little... That's up to you, not me.
  3. Maybe 4 or 5 times a year. Ann loves breakfast steak/bagels and we have breakfast from them when going on road trips. I often stop for a large cup of coffee while on the road. One reasonably safe stop on the road.
  4. No, and yes.
  5. Close, but no cigar! Close to what? You are too close to my cigar. Please step back.
  6. You must be able to better.
  7. Close, but no cigar!
  8. Your definition means you bring lots of "baggage". Time to grow beyond and add new pleasures. Self limiting is a very negative thing.
  9. This crap goes on all the time and at all levels of the biz. I remember one night (in the '80s) when a NY indie jazz label owner told me he'd just paid a couple of Chi djs. No reason to believe it has stopped.
  10. Joe is a bright guy. Buy the disc.
  11. That is mine. How 'bout you?
  12. I agree. Right now listening to Roy Eldridge, disc 7: What a surprise. For the real payoff, go back to the first couple of discs.
  13. Which system did you use to re-channel for stereo?
  14. Rhymes with Payton.
  15. All the best to Mr Lunch.
  16. I like/love most of the painters mentioned. Lots of (hip) reasons to dislike Dali, but he had amazing technique and he could have used it in destructive ways - he didn't. That counts for a bunch in my book since so many 20th century "artists" did tons of damage with much less.
  17. Fond memories of Ms Stevens from Met broadcasts (commercial am radio in the '50s) and tv variety shows. Amazing how all the tech gains of the last 50+ years have lowered the bar.
  18. FWIW, The Hawk In Hi-Fi has a string section in the band for 8 of the original 12 tunes.
  19. Freeman could be "great". Depends on the script. 90% of impersonation is attitude and I'm sure Mr Freeman understands the Ellington attitude.
