  1. What they said.
  2. Many thanks for the photography. Much appreciated.
  3. Considering my previous experiences (and mail) with Mr. Fine, I find this really funny. He savaged a couple of my lps in Cadence for "formalism" and then sent me audition tapes asking me to forget about the "rips" 'cause he really respected me and wanted to be on the label. NOW he's recording with Braxton! Edit to ask when the last time you saw/heard the word MOXIE?
  4. I'm almost "done" with sports beyond middle school level. Hard to day goodbye but...........................
  5. That's 'cause you are a silly boy.
  6. The Wimbledon discs never attracted me and I remember Warren Vache on fhn and a trombone but that's all. It's been a while.
  7. All the best you youngster.
  8. He may have sold it to garthsj.
  9. Wrong. An iPod is a playback/recording/storage medium. You are making the wrong comparos here. Huh? Sure, it's not really cost effective to cut your own records. However, both tapes and CD's are inexpensive playback/recording/storage medium. I was making the point the iPod is hardware, software and storage "all in one" - very different from a turntable, cd player or cassette deck. Not a deep thought. Not really. An iPod, like a walkman, is pretty much just a playback device. With an iPod, a hard drive holds the music, just like cassette tape holds the music in a walkman. What has changed is the amount of music that you can carry with you. With a package 1/3 the size of a walkman, you have at least 1000 times the storage space of a cassette tape. I give up.
  10. My mode seems to be around the mean median.

  12. Mine is under my left leg, just behind the knee
  13. Bet they don't sell 5000 worldwide with Uni help.
  14. One of my best friends (now dead) was the grandson of the president of Wilson packing in Chicago. Bunch of sad memories here.
  15. Cambodge? That's pretty impressive.
  16. They are awarding them AOL "45 days free" cds.
  17. My concern is not about "some perv getting his head bashed in". Among other details, I'm concerned about playing this string out. Should there be a list of shoplifters so retail operations don't hire them? What's next? Do we really want a bunch of disgruntled folks with "criminal tendencies" wandering around, pissed off, 'cause they can't find a job or a place to live?
  18. I think all are confusing this "concept" with the reality of the Fred Hampton / Dorothy Parker film circulating among collectors. -_-

  20. Agree with all Lon says, 'cept Black and Tan is not on this dvd.
  21. It's on this neat cd/dvd combo available at Yourmusic.
  22. Welcome back. May you sleep very well tonight.
  23. FWIW, I prefer (in this instance) to live by "local" laws. At least I could stand up and scream at meetings if I didn't agree. I would be heard there.
