There's some in the pantry right now. NO! I'm not kidding.

Oh, man...I'm speechless!
Is the box all glowy and emanating heat?
←
You could say there's a golden hue....
Is this in addition to these that have been mentioned for this Summer:
Bobby Hutcherson - Oblique
McCoy Tyner - Time For Tyner
Blue Mitchell - Boss Horn
Andrew Hill - Judgement
Lonnie Smith - Think!
Jimmy Smith - Jimmy Smith at the Organ, Vol. 3
If so, when does this second summer batch come out? August?
I bought a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker/Smoker for my father-in-law to be. It replaced a 1990 model that was about to give up the ghost.
This grill has its own following online here although their forums aren't nearly as lively as those here.
I've emailed a catalog request to Fantasy several times - going back way before the buyout - and have never received a response.
Do you think I'd have better luck mailing in a request?
another knock against.... at least for me:
My current rate includes a 2% discount for good payment history.
The rates are going up by 1.93%. When you consolidate you loose any discounts you have. So I would be giving up 2% to save 1.93% so it doesn't make much sense. Unless of course the rates go up again next year. They might. But at this point I think I'll stay put. I don't have that much more to pay off anyway.
The "Father's day" email that I got from Mosaic indicated that, "We have just added The Complete Blue Note Donald Byrd/Pepper Adams Studio Sessions to our Running Low category. " The website still shows Last Chance.
I think the Running Low/Last Chance distinction is quite subtle.
You haven't missed much. This is the first issue I've wanted to pick up in some time. Same for Downbeat, which by the way has a nice article on Hank Jones.
rostasi mentioned this briefly in a thread about the iPod.
I was wondering if anyone here has a Roku Soundbridge and what their experience has been.
Does it have good range?
Any hiccups during transmission?
How's the sound quality?
What connection are you using? (digital coax, optical)
Which audio server are you using on the PC?
Is it easy to select and play music via the remote?
That was the lunch box I used as a kid. I still have that - along with the original 12 Star Wars action figures sealed in the box. My Dad bought each one of the figures along with me. He knew they would be worth some $$ someday.
I pre-ordered both today. The Select concept is perfect for me. I'm getting exposure to some artists that I wouldn't have otherwise - with the Mosaic treatment without the full-set price.
I've ordered them all so far and unless/until there is just an absolute stinker, plan to continue.
Got my copy of Cat on a Hot Thin Groove from Amazon.com today. The book was in bad shape. The spine was broken and the pages (as a whole) were separated from the binding.
The book is rather large and oddly sized. I just wonder if as it was being packed it was held by it's front or back cover with the rest of the book left to dangle...
Amazon.com will make it right. I've only had to use their return process a few times, but each time they've come through.
I did flip through the pages and looked at some of the covers and cartoons. I opted for the replacement rather than the refund. So I guess that says something.
