  1. Duke Ellington, "Never No Lament--The Blanton-Webster Band" (Bluebird)--all 3 discs. It's been a while.
  2. Just ordered the Parlan and Turrentine sets. I wasn't going to order any more Mosaics for a while unless they were "running low", but you gotta support a sale. And these two have been at the top of my Mosaic wish list for some time. Now, only 22 left on the list.
  3. Ooops! Just go one of those out-of-stock emails. Oh well--maybe more are on the way (and there's always Amazon).
  4. By the way, in case anyone misses out on Dusty Groove's supply, there's a bunch of these being sold by Amazon Marketplace sellers for around $33, plus or minus. Someone (Concord, a distributor, or a retailer) is obviously dumping these.
  5. Another order just placed. Thanks for the heads-up, Bob (and everyone else)!
  6. Perhaps the widely lauded remastering by John R.T. Davies in the JSP box? http://wc07.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&...10:dxfoxqwkldhe
  7. Bill Evans, "The Complete Riverside Recordings", discs 9-12
  8. Bill Evans, "The Complete Riverside Recordings", discs 5-8
  9. Bill Evans, "The Complete Riverside Recordings", discs 1-4
  10. And the discs aren't schmutzed up? I love this set, too--AND the sound.
  11. John Coltrane, "The Prestige Recordings" (Prestige), discs 13-16
  12. And you're a "piano man". Hmmmmmmm . . . . . . still thinking I'm gonna let this one go.
  13. Now I'VE seen your response--and I'd originally thought that I'd let this one pass me by. Now you've got me having second thoughts.
  14. The Herman Capitol Herd has once again become extinct.
  15. Happy Birthday! <---------(I know how much you love that smiley.) Seriously, though--hope you're having a great one!
  16. John Coltrane, "The Prestige Recordings" (Prestige), discs 9-12
  17. Speaking of which, it sure feels like summer again around here . . . . Oh well, just some wishful thinking. Something tells me that summer blowout sale was a one-off related to the big warehouse move.
  18. Now discs 4-6 (yeah, givin' the interview disc a spin)
  19. Makes me glad I opted for XP on my new laptop.
  20. Is Cindy the one who fills in those numbers? My understanding is that it's someone in shipping (the people truly in control of the world ), who merely fills in the number that's already printed on the invoice.
  21. Charles Mingus, "Passions of a Man: The Complete Atlantic Recordings 1956-1961" (Rhino/Atlantic), discs 1-3
  22. How stupid is that? Make unreasonable demands and get nothing, rather than negotiate a reasonable "something" based on projected sales of a jazz CD (what might that be - maybe 3,000 worldwide). Must be the lawyer representing the estate! At least someone is beginning to see the light. why are you slamming the lawyer??? He forgot to disclose he's also a lawyer WHAT???? There are LAWYERS on this Board????
  23. they acknowledged the mistake and are sending me a postage paid return label. i have two customer numbers, one with my office address and one with my home address. i account the error to that. Did they send one to each address? If they did, it might be something to consider--keeping a set at each place.
