You are aware that that Dylan CD is not official? It's a European grey-label release, see this lengthy thread on the Hoffman board, from post #158 onwards: http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/bob-dylan-freewheelins-outtakes-cd-sony-copyright-issues.305047/page-7

Hm, no - unless it's an FKK documentary, of course. You could freely translate FKK as "nothing to hide"

Health & Safety? FSK = Freiwillige Selbstkontrolle der Filmwirtschaft, in English: voluntary self-regulation of the film industry. It's the German film classification.

As was said many times before discussing bootlegs and copyright issues is NOT against forum rules; the only thing that's not allowed is posting links to bootlegs. I really don't see how that can be a cause for a decline of this board.

Well, that's not cheaper than Amazon Germany (€20.99 or about $28.50 including tax, which will be deducted from non-EU orders).
-
Got the set today from Amazon Germany and noticed that the DVD is region-free and NTSC. Just thought I'd mention it.

Jazzmessengers.com is based in Barcelona, Spain, so there'll be no routine checks or taxes and customs fees within the European Union.

Keep in mind that it can take a while for a package to cross the pond and be delivered. The other way around I usually get packages from the United States within 10-14 days, but sometimes it takes longer - at the moment I'm still waiting for a set that was mailed on December 26... I'm waiting for a package from Amazon UK that was shipped 2 weeks ago. OTOH, I received a package from The Netherlands (from subdist.com) in a week. This month a package containing books from Amazon UK (not third party) I ordered with Free Super Saver Delivery was actually lost in transit. A first for me. Of course they promptly send me a replacement with expedited shipping. The lost package's last known location was Grimbergen, Belgium. I wonder if it'll ever arrive in The Netherlands and what it was doing in Belgium in the first place. All European Amazon "Free Super Saver Delivery" packages destined for the Netherlands seem to go through Grimbergen, Belgium. I guess it's a TNT distribution centre. I am now waiting for the Miles Bootleg 2 set from Amazon Germany that's supposed to be delivered today (Saturday), but according to the tracking number it's still at Grimbergen, so there'll probably be no delivery until sometime next week.

You're welcome. Note, however, that the translations are sometimes pretty poor/ridiculous. It's a useful tool to get the gist of a text, though.

Even cheaper in the U.K., £14.99: https://www.sainsburysentertainment.co.uk/en/Music/CD/The-Miles-Davis-Quintet/Live-In-Europe-1969/product.html?product=E11186720

The DVD that came with Vol.1 was region-free (and NTSC unfortunately, to my eyes PAL is better) and I think it's very likely this one will be too.

Erwin, A whole bunch of these Analogue Productions hybrid SACDs will be available again from ImportCDs in March at relatively low prices: http://www.importcds...-Harmonia Mundi (from page 2)

Miles Davis - So What: Complete 1960 Amsterdam Concerts
J.A.W. replied to aurelio's topic in Mosaic and other box sets...
From www.platomania.eu. Surely a 2 cd digipack can be shipped for €6 in a bubble mailer (what they use when shipping domestic)? Wereld/World (outside Europe): The fee to deliver your order outside of Europe depends on the type and amount of products you are purchasing. 1-3 cd's = € 6,- More than 3 cd's and all lp's/dvd's, etc.: Up to 500 grams = € 10,- Between 500 grams and 2 kilos = € 20,- More than 2 kilos = € 35,- Orders with more than one item will be send when the order is complete. Just checked Platomania's website and saw those shipping rates. If ordered from them the total for the set including shipping to Australia would be 28.99 euros and I don't find that obscenely expensive. I don't read German. Do you have to open an account on their website? Do they accept PayPal? Creditcards: Visa, Mastercard Registreren is Dutch for to register (upper right corner). And it's Dutch, not German. -

FS/ Art Blakey At the Jazz Corner Of the World 2 cd

RVG or another version? A few more details would be helpful. -
See post #116 above. There are lots of translation services on the 'net, like Google: http://translate.google.com and you can always ask German speaking members of this board or me to help you.

Which is still a higher than Amazon Germany's current price of €20.99.

Actually, it was late 2011. Yes, my slipup. But that still locates the recordings we are talking about here firmly outside the scope of applicability of the new 70-year limit. Yep, as far as the European Union is concerned, I didn't deny that. For the United States it might be a different story; if the release wasn't licensed, it probably violates American copyright law.
