Same here - the total cost for a set is a little less than ordering from Mosaic directly, shipping costs and VAT added, and I don't have the hassle of picking the parcel up at the local customs office - when I order from Jazzmessengers it's a shipment within the EU. So far I ordered three sets from them, no problems, and they arrived within three days. Packing was excellent. Never had any problems with ordering from Mosaic per surface mail, either. Some sets arrived after two weeks, some took six.

The album with Ruth Brown was not part of the Mosaic box but reissued separately on Blue Note - used copies go for crazy prices.

The Dearly Beloved album in this box set has some very fine Stanley Turrentine playing!

That was a great feature! Had a Teleton amp for some years that even had a blend poti from stereo to mono. Works great on albums with ping-pong stereo effects, too.

The stereo release had Monk on one channel and the rest of the band on the other, nothing in the center - simply unlistenable. Fortunately the more recent CD reissues corrected this.

I wonder: did Jazzmessenger seize the opportunity and order a handful ......
