  1. Great, I love the LP so shall be getting this for the extra tunes
  2. I've bought online from Superfly, yet to make it to the shop https://www.superflyrecords.com/ Another vote for PJC
  3. No samples but looking at those timings you got to wonder why it's not on three CDs https://tumrecords.com/box-004-chicago-symphonies
  4. Yes, absolutely but I hope you listen to something else in the month too. Too much undiluted Scott might be too much.
  5. Autumn/winter definitely brings out the ECM in me
  6. Graham Collier - British Conversations [My Only Desire, 2021] That's a great album. All the better for having been haggled over too I found my copy in an Oxfam about 5 years ago. Not cheap, market price but that's fine when paying to a charity.
  7. This is beginning to nudge Braxtonian proportions.
  8. I'm not sure how this fits in, if at all (others will know) but Gilles P played a great track by the German band Embryo last week. Sounded a fusion of jazz and krautrock to my uneducated ears. From the 70s, so maybe inheritors of some of the same influences.
  9. Tum just keep delivering new WLS. Great news although I've hardly absorbed the last two boxes
  10. preceded by Been a while since ECM released titles that grabbed me like these two. Also, the recent Taborn
  11. Oh no, that is sad. I treasure his music, which I only discovered with the initial reissues from SOTU, and wish I knew more about his other artistic endeavours. The reissue programme was a labour of love I think for SOTU and I hope it successfully spread the word so many more appreciate his work.
  12. Robin Cook Norman Cook Nigella Lawson
  13. Okyerema Asante - Drum Message
  14. "Soul Jazzmen" at The Ambassadors (1965) Unknown female vocalist (possibly Vuyiswa Ngcwangu), Dennis Mpale (trumpet), Nik Moyake (sax), Duku Makasi (sax), Shakes Mgudlwa (piano), Psych Big T Ntsele (bass), Peter Jackson Jnr. (drums)
  15. I agree, the McKenna is wrong on so many levels but I still think 'Push Push' deserves a place in the rogues gallery
