  1. Murcof Damon Albarn Shed Seven
  2. That does look interesting not least for The Trio's involvement
  3. that's a good album
  4. Like the previous albums except he's used BN music alongside his musicians. I'm sure you can play spot the sample but it deserves more than that I think
  5. Ben Lamarr Gay - Open Arms to Open Us [International Anthem/Nonesuch]
  6. I warmed to it after a couple of listens and really like it now. More just as the next McCraven album rather than for any of its BN connections. Nice band.
  7. Noguchi at The Barbican Art Gallery. Learnt a lot Late Constable at The Royal Academy. Failed in its stated attempt to recast Constable as a modern master as far as I could see. Some great paintings and sketches nonetheless
  8. 4Hero, Cinematic Orchestra...I hear a very British lineage to this one
  9. terrific trio
  10. for the purists...
  11. Gruppo di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza - Azioni/Reazioni [Die Schactel, Italy 2017] LP.1 first listen. Outstanding sound
  12. Great, I love the LP so shall be getting this for the extra tunes
  13. I've bought online from Superfly, yet to make it to the shop https://www.superflyrecords.com/ Another vote for PJC
  14. No samples but looking at those timings you got to wonder why it's not on three CDs https://tumrecords.com/box-004-chicago-symphonies
  15. Yes, absolutely but I hope you listen to something else in the month too. Too much undiluted Scott might be too much.
  16. Autumn/winter definitely brings out the ECM in me
  17. Graham Collier - British Conversations [My Only Desire, 2021] That's a great album. All the better for having been haggled over too I found my copy in an Oxfam about 5 years ago. Not cheap, market price but that's fine when paying to a charity.
  18. This is beginning to nudge Braxtonian proportions.
