Truly great album by a great artist. I hope she releases something again soon. I miss The Johnsons but Anohni's debut was an interesting development. One of THE best live experiences ever seeing A&tJs Candy, darling...

And how does that stand up now? I remember the fuss when it came out, it was never really going to live up to it all. Crosby is such an important figure.

There wasn't any vinyl out except on the walls when I went on my day off trip (this was some years ago). Combined it with a trip to the Putney Debates church nearby which was also disappointing. That's sarf of the river for you. I've never been to Alan's, it's almost reached mythic status!
