  1. Just bought a UK pressing of 'Nuts about...' off the back of this discussion. Not sure why I haven't investigated Most before as I have a weakness for flute in Jazz
  2. Reckon they got the second letter wrong...
  3. Interesting line up. I enjoy the Floridis albums in my collection
  4. My first listen, casting from Tidal. I can actually hear both sides of the bass debate. It is audible, less so in the full on quartet passages but very definitely when it breaks down to a piano trio. And yes, it is a bit boomy but that doesn't detract too much for me, I'd rather it that way than thin or non-existent. Overall I'd say its SQ is one of the better recently discovered live recordings. The music itself is pretty spectacular. I'll be buying this.
  5. Exactly, money well spent
  6. £10.01 I didn't know I was going to spend too
  7. I was due to but have had to pass on my ticket.
  8. I ordered the new McPhee book from them yesterday. Pricey but an import
  9. Yeah, there's a real "mine is rarer than yours" pissing contest going on, it's laughable most of the time. Only a small handful add interesting text about the recordings
  10. Jeff Parker ETA IVtet - The Way Out Of Easy
  11. McDuff Macbeth Malcolm
  12. Thanks for the follow and the Chinen link
  13. Why is the double floor pile always there? It never leaves no matter how many I file. Glad it wasn't the rarities but any kind of damage is a pain
  14. Red House Painters - I I had this when released but sold it on in one of the great rock clear outs. Listening now, for the first time in what must be 25 years, I'm remembering what a beautiful album it is
  15. Left Twitter when Musk supported the far right rallies in the UK this summer. Glad to have gone. Flipping between Threads and Bluesky but not settled on either yet. Bluesky seems difficult to find people/content or they/it aren't there yet. I enjoy Instagram still but I find I need to be ruthless with the 'not interested' option to clear the feed.
  16. Sounds promising
