  1. Yes, I recently, within the last 3 months, placed an order from the UK for one LP and 4CDs. Order was dealt with quickly and with no issues whatsoever. Products arrived sealed, as listed, and well packaged for a transatlantic trip. I would order from then again with no hesitation based on this experience.
  2. €100!! Time to offload mine
  3. Wasn't it just. Couldn't believe the reviews it received That's a great set and good news that there's more to come but I have to wonder why they didn't release it all in the first place
  4. And how Wright is as much a rhythm player as the "rhythm section". The build up and then delay of release is great fun throughout too. To my ears it's very original, I can't think of any obvious direct precursor, influences yes as you identify
  5. Release of the year in these parts
  6. Top 5 album of the year for me (yes, I like an EoY list). Evidently he recently broke his arm which isn't great
  7. That's been popping up in end of year lists, must give it a listen
  8. Had, I suspect. I sold it to them a few months ago

  10. Someone might have had a word about the vocal
  11. Not FMP and not one I know but tangentially relevant, Aguirre are reissuing 'Patterns'. https://www.aguirrerecords.com/products/noah-howard-patterns-lp?srsltid=AfmBOopdj-Uem9z3xaxsyO4ejHO4a8l2vxAnR9_tFa5juwIhobZbZxfR
  12. This is really good. I get the frustrations about the fade outs.
  13. Natalie Merchant Peter Sellers Pet Shop Boys
  14. Brötzmann, Amadou, Noble - B.A.N.
  15. Thanks, I will hunt it down for a stream. I realise I was thinking of another David Lee, a bass player with the Bill Smith Ensemble.
  16. Evolution' is a super deep, ‘lost classic’ radical and groundbreaking deep spiritual jazz album, apparently. I definitely know his name, can't think from where at the moment
  17. Yes no worries about Trost. They've done a great job on Brötzmann's catalogue amongst others. They often had a stall at Oto for PB's gigs They're also not afraid to reissue less obvious artists/titles, for instance Kowald. Top quality
  18. I loved the first three Yoakam albums at the time. Even got to see him once. We drifted apart as the 90 came along. I see he released an album this year, I might just have to reacquaint myself

  20. Very much enjoyed his performances on a number of JMT releases when I was first listening to Jazz. Saw him in London a couple of times. He was definitely an original and interesting player.
