And how do they both compare to the 1st press LPs which I expect you also have? I have a 'Dialogue' and I'm flirting with a 'Components' but I could buy the Mosaic and have change, but no lovely LP ans sleeve to hold...

Why not use Gofundme? It's reputable and works effectively, especially in emergency circumstances like this where the beneficiaries have no longer got postal addresses and are far too busy putting their lives back together to deal with direct donations I would have thought.
