  12. Henry Threadgill Very Very Circus - Spirit Of Nuff...Nuff [Black Saint] this line up was responsible for one of my most exciting live musical experiences.
  13. It's an extraordinary album, a favourite amongst many of Mr Threadgill's. I have all the music in the box on LP/CD apart from the unreleased partner session to X-75. Sometimes when I listen to X-75 I think I should have bought the box just for that session but then sense prevails...it's long gone into the stratosphere of out-of-print Mosaic pricing now On vinyl? Interesting to see Ogun riding the wave It wasn't just the media, our dear leader of the time did her best to thoroughly besmirch the man - another moment in the catalogue of her shame (oops, sorry political alert)
  14. Henry Threadgill - X-75 Volume 1 [Novus]
  15. Henry Threadgill's Zooid - Pop Start The Tape, Stop [Hardedge]
  16. I was surprised to his death covered by one of our main news programmes yesterday evening. Last Poets are a group I've read more about than listened to. Perhaps I should rectify that
  17. Mentioned on the Masakela thread
  18. Derek Bailey & Evan Parker - The London Concert [Oto Roku]
  19. Yukihiro Isso & Roger Turner - Takanehishigu [Oto Roku] Wolfgang Fuchs - So-und? So! [Uhlklang]
  20. Sorry. If I had the right technology I'd see you right but sadly not
  21. New York Art Quartet - Call It Art [Triple Point], LP 2 more Baraka
  22. Thanks Sonny Murray - Sonny's Time Now [DIW, Japan] First listen to this new arrival - powerful stuff edit to add: wish I could read the Japanese notes
  23. Yes, it was the final day of a weekend of one-day line ups in London over the last couple of weekends https://www.allpointseastfestival.com/presents/ I'm of the vintage now where I go just for the latter part of the day rather than try and make it all the way through!
