  1. That sounds very good, I may give it a whirl one day. Did you make the gnocchi yourselves? I did once, never again

  7. Pierre Boulez Peter Bowles Peter Lever 🤣had to acknowledge this brilliant post
  8. In my experience BC take at least a week to reply but they do get there eventually. I shudder to think quite how many enquiries they receive in a day, especially as their model is based on them not having control on fulfilment (as in your case). Also, when BC was recently bought out the new owners decimated the staffing levels. Have you tried contacting TRR directly with the BC order details? https://www.truthrevolutionrecords.com/contact Also you could try the public shaming tactic by posting on one of their social media platforms. I have had that work very well before. Or even seeing if you can contact the artist directly to see if they can nudge the label. Or, give up and write off the $$. I've done that before too

  12. Yeah it'll turn up. Just realised that 'Assist' has van Hove on it, so that's what corto maltese referred to above
  13. Same here. Lovely city. Still to get there. I'm so pleased that they managed to reopen it
  14. Chillida is possibly my favourite artist. I wish I was in the area! Very rarely shown in the UK
  15. Prog Rock's greatest achievement was surely Punk Rock...
  16. I've made hundreds of orders through Bandcamp and have had a handful that were delayed beyond the stated delivery date but never not turn up at all I don't think. One recently was 3 months overdue and I had no response from the label so I opened a dispute. This was with Whirlwind Records who I have received very poor and late response on the last three orders with them, given up on them now I always pay using PayPal so I have their dispute system as a back up. I have also found Bandcamp dispute facility helpful. But these have been on receipt of damaged goods a lot more than missing. Could it be missing in the post? Personally I'd give it another week and if it hasn't arrived or you haven't heard (maybe make another contact) then open a dispute.
  17. Yes, forgot about how you got yours ...
  18. Thanks, I have the Evan Parker and I'm on the look out for the Barry Guy, I didn't realise there was one with Van Hove, I'll check that out but prices are crazy Thanks, I did know about that but haven't been using it for some reason. Will do so from now on
  19. Me too. My impression is they were on top of the game at the beginning but lost quality control as they got bigger.
  20. Albert Mangelsdorff Quintett - Birds Of Underground [MPS/BASF West Germany 1973] has the maximum file size been reduced lately? i used to be able to copy/paste cover images from Discogs with no issues but in the last week or so most of the files are deemed too big
  21. Superb music too
  22. Don Cherry Marlon Brando Francis Ford Coppola
  23. And another great cover. Record shops, always hope... Now playing here, Soren Skov Orbit - Adrift [Frederiksberg Records, Denmark 2024]

    BFT 246

Yes, well done, track ID. It is "Mopti" #10 is in the BFT as a representative of all the more Avant music I didn't dare include 🫢 so I'm not surprised by the reactions. The entire BFT could have been in this style, easily. No Dutch players involved although the pianist has recently been involved in a unrecorded Mengelberg tribute so a connection's there maybe, good listening T.D. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on other tracks if you have time. #2 is great. Thanks for listening
