  7. An essential part of the UK, and beyond, scene. So much music released to the world's ears. I remember him regularly on the door at the Red Rose Cub and other gigs with an always tempting selection of CDs. Also not forgetting the work he did distributing and retailing Evan Parker's Psi label

  9. Thanks. Tate was very powerful live
  10. How is that? I saw them perform music from that. It was a very powerful gig, hope the album is good too. It will be a post Xmas purchase for me I think Anything that Reed's involved in is worthy of attention I find

  14. Interesting. A couple of his Soul Note LPs are in my offload pile...
  15. Yes, I passed too. Will no doubt regret it when it's sold out
  16. Just off Essex Road, Hunter's Arms in Southgate Road. M-in-L's local so easy for her. Nice place, good veggie Sunday roast and non veggie menu looked ok. Lots of millennials and younger, we raised average age considerably. Looked kid friendly too. Mulled cider a hit
  17. No, lunch with mother in law
  18. I was in rain soaked Essex Road too, no Salsa or Xmas tree though 👍
