they switched from jewel or whatever cases to plain cardboard long ago over here. probably 'cause people would buy spindles of blanks and take a pile of AOL disks for the jewel cases, using the disks as coasters or beermats. they are also great for making lamp shades.

this disk seems to have gone pretty fast. I remember it was easily available some months ago, now it seems gone. amazon.de still offers it, but with their 2 week delivery time I'm doubtful they will deliver. And with exchange and postage, ordering from them would set you back 20+ dollars too.
