When the twentieth season of "Charmed" aired, none of the original cast had survived. The programme director decided to try one last time to boost viewer stats by introducing a strange parallel world named "Zeldan." The three lovely witches were sucked into this parallel world at many odd instances during what turned out to be the final season of the series. In spite or maybe rather because of the gratuitous plot twists, this did add an at times macabre twist to the stories, resulting in a cult following of "Zeldans."
The budget had suffered from declining advertisement money and the seemingly lucrative contract with a candle factory turned against the creative squirts of the design department when the factory's director insisted his PR department design the Zeldan costumes.
