As JETman has pointed out. No matter the season....NYC is one of those cities that people will visit year round. Does anyone who has been there think no one will visit Paris during winter? NYC doesn't need the Super Bowl. On the other hand, even as very little as the Super Bowl really adds to any State/City economy....New Jersey where it's being played can use all it can get.

I single out ESPN because when Gene Wojciechowski interviews Te'o, gets nothing Te'o about the girlfriend, does not bother to contact the family, and engages in shoddy journalism by not doing any kind of background work -- and that is not my opinion, but the judgement of his peers, they deserve to be singled out. There's no way that someone can expect good reporting out of ESPN or the major networks, they just have way too much money invested in the "sports product". An incredbile blog that I have discovered an amazing amout of musicians I have never heard about previously. http://www.muzikifan.com/ Take for example this band. One of the many I discovered just from his Best of 2012 list. They're street musicians from the Congo. Half the musicians were effected by polio. The other half is abandoned street children. The lead guitar sound is a one string lute made from wood and empty fish can that's hooked up to an amp. Both their records are recommended.
