Happy Birthday Greg K.

Free gets all the FSU hotties nowadays! Happy Birthday Greg! -
So, you got 1/2 of one question out of 3 correct (or 1 out of 6). You are actually further off on C than you were before, but I'll let that slide. That equates to a .167 batting average. Perhaps you need some steroids like your hero to artificially boost your numbers. I think my logic is quite fine. If you think guessing/assuming and getting a .167 percentage correct makes your decisions sound logically, well, you're clearly not operating on the same playing field as everyone else.

Pretty poor: a. 1/2 right. b. No. c. no - How does your illogical mind get from the assumption that "your parents were in the military" , to the conclusion that I must be a Cowboys fan? It will be nice when you admit you make assumptions about people - like you did with Conn by with the "You Cle'lan fans just fry me" comment.

It is odd, in the sense that I didn't move to Texas until I was 18. Yet I liked them since I was about 5. So your logic STILL makes no sense.

Musicians (any genre) with jazz musician parent(s)??

Thelonious Monk ---> T.S. Monk Charles Mingus ---> Eric Mingus Nat King Cole ---> Natalie Cole Sandy Stewart ---> Bill Charlap -
Why would you assume anything about which team someone likes based on where they live? I lived in Germany for 9 yrs, yet I liked the Cowboys there too. How can that be??

Well, here's one poll where my Aggies are ranked #1. Who is the worst coach in college football? Bill Callahan - 24% Karl Dorrell - 8% Dennis Franchione - 49% Houston Nutt - 9% Other - 11% edit - he's up to 54% now!! Whoop!!

Actually it is, GS. NE has San Fran's first round draft pick in next year's draft? Will it fall into the top 10? Right now, it looks like it. Rich get richer.... (fuck you Goodell!) Yeah, yeah. You Cle'lan fans just fry me. Oh and thhhbbbtttt back atcha Who is a Cleveland fan? Toledo, right? Bengals, then? sheesh As usual, you're talking without knowing what you're talking about. Conn's been the biggest Patriots fan on this board as long as I've known him. As a Cowboys fan, I've got a vested interest in the Browns though. I want them to do bad so their first round pick in next year's draft is a high one. Cuz the Cowboys own it.

The two threads have been merged You've got some skills, Hans!! LOL

I also started a thread about it here on this board.

My suspicion is that it wasn't really a pricing mistake by Amazon per say. Since some of the Amazon Marketplace vendors were also offering it for basically the same pricing, I'd think that the error (if there is one) came from the supplier, not Amazon UK.

I agree, I would rather stick bamboo shoots under my fingernails than pay Ticketmaster anything. This particular venue was also selling tickets at their box office. But it's in Houston, and they only sold at the window, not over the phone/internet. If I lived in Houston I would have gone that route for sure. Signify is a very good album. If you like that after a few more spins, check out Stupid Dream after that. It's the one that came next, and is great! The most recent albums that PT has put out are a bit different than Signify, in that they're quite a bit heavier, with more metal influences. Still good, but I prefer the stretch from Signify through Lightbulb Sun & Recordings.

It's fun! My six year old loves to watch that Most Extreme Elimination (MXC) show with me, and we've caught one or two episodes of that Ninja Warrior show too. They're dumb, funny, and full of double (triple?) entendres galore.

Perseus and Medusa, um.....huh? M'kay. I....think I'll go with the Cyrus Chestnut derivation....the Jazz pianist. Cedar Walton Red Garland Bill Evans That's cheating. Ford Prefect Mos Def Mose Allison

Yeah I think so. It's just been wild seeing him go from an undrafted 3rd stringer to starter (and a decent one at that) in such a relatively quick time. He's still basically started only one season (17 games total), so he's got some room for further improvement. I guess my concern would be that he doesn't flame out too quickly. He's been living the celebrity lifestyle - dating Carrie Underwood, Jessica Simpson, and apparently meeting up with Britney Spears of all people (blech!) this weekend. I think he'll be fine as long as he keeps enough of his focus on the game, and not the Broadway Joe life.

Romo got a 6 yr, $67M contract from the Cowboys today (!) Not too shabby for an undrafted player.

Happy Birthday! I had a little spill on the way to the party, I hope someone else brought some beer too!

Hey, I enjoy aloc's posts. I think he's obviously very intelligent and pleasantly quirky. BTW, you misspelled "midget". Just trying to help. -
A little more info on the new reissue of Exodus: Island plans the 30th Anniversary release of Exodus from Bob Marley and the Wailers, scheduling the album for November 20. This magnificent album that contained “Waiting in Vain,” “Jamming,” and “One Love,” will be available in several forms. The first is the single CD set, while the second, and more preferable package is the DVD-sized Casebound Book that contains the CD and a DVD. The DVD is the 12-performance track Live at the Rainbow set. Originally released in 1977 as Bob Marley was in exile in the UK due to an assassination attempt on his life in Jamaica, this set represents great Marley music. I've already got the 2 disc deluxe edition, so I'm not sure if this appeals to me very much.

Note to Belichek - When you have a 38 point lead with 9 minutes left in the game, it's probably smart to get your starting QB and other skill position starters out of the game. Was that TD really that necessary? If Brady got hurt and lost for the season at this point in the game, it would all be on your shoulders.

Great show last night! The band was "on", and the club was packed (I don't think sold-out, but very close to it - 1000+). They are still emphasizing their more current, heavier material, but they did pull out a few gems that I loved hearing - Dark Matter & Waiting from "Signify", and A Smart Kid from "Stupid Dream". They also played "Drown With Me", which was a song left off of In Absentia (SW said he wasn't sure why it was left off now, in hindsight). Anesthetize was fantastic live, as was Sleep Together. Setlist Fear of a Blank Planet What Happens Now? Sound of Muzak Sentimental Cheating the Polygraph Anesthetize (SW called this "Annie's Thighs...LOL) Open Car Dark Matter Drown with Me A Smart Kid Way Out of Here Sleep Together Encore: Waiting Phase One Blackest Eyes Halo They're in Dallas tonight, Atlanta tomorrow, and then it's off for the European tour. If you have time, check them out - great show!
