One thing to consider is that you're buying something that doesn't have one feature a normal cd has - the ability to re-sell it. This may or may not matter to you, but there's no real market for used CDRs, regardless of their origin. I know I'd never buy one.

I don't get it - if I understand what you're saying, you're ok with it in this song, in the context it's in. You just are in favor of censorship (like the Canadian ban) so the word can't be heard? Are you in favor of banning books like Huckleberry Finn so certain words can't be read, either?

Back when I was in high school in Wiesbaden, I was a trumpet player in the regional honors band. Whigham came and did a workshop and perfored with the band, and was a fine musician and all around person. I enjoyed my brief time around him. Edit - the article says he's been doing this for 27 years - I guess I was in one of the the first seminars he did with the military schools over there!

I was lucky to hang on this weekend, everybody picked better than I did! I was way too conservative with my picks, and didn't factor in enough of the playoff teams sitting starters. If everybody had made all their picks successfully througout the season, I don't think I'd have finished in first. But hey, someone's gotta win! Thanks to everyone, it was a fun season! I agree with Moose, can't wait until next year!

I think I DID wish people well back when I first posted. I only responded when someone made a snide remark about my original post... That's a hell of alot of revisionism there. The only "snide remark" that was made was that somebody said they're tired of Lennon's Xmas song. You took that as an opportunity to make a cutting remark about the Savior that others believe in. I guess I missed the snide remark that set you off. Your perception of yourself is VERY different from how you come across then. You're taking your gripes about society and standing on your soapbox here on this board, to an audience that isn't doing the things you're bitching about. If those are your gripes you're wasting your (and our) time here.

My wish for you for Christmas is that you come to peace and some level of security with your atheism, so you don't have to shove it in everyone's faces all the time. Nobody is attacking what you believe, why do you attack what others hold dear, in their face? Can't you just stay out of a thread that has people wishing each other well, if you can't do likewise?
