I don't think he did sgcim, but Eddie is one of my fav Jimmy Smith guitarists. He was a much better fit than Thornel Schwartz and more inventive than Quentin Warren as far as "regular" JOS guitarists.
Indeed it is, JOS, Burrell and Jimmie Smith on drums. I think this is one of JOS' best from later in his career too. For some reason, they aren't reissuing the second album, just the first. It'd be nice to have a complete sessions set from this gig.
Listening now to the original US CD, if you don't have it since it is being reissued in Japan, highly recommended. I don't plan on upgrading but hope they don't make the reissue too loud.
