it's still my favorite wes release.

and it's pretty cool that the unique material on 40378 and 40242 has not been reissued as bonus tracks on the more recent issues.

i always thought that older cd players (even ones that play cdr's) are unable to play a flac audio cd. i think i once accidentally burned a flac audio cd instead of a wav audio cd, and my stand alone home cd player didn't recognize the format.
-
so, you can play a flac cd in your car?
-
are you sure that a flac cd plays on your standard stand-alone cd player? re: mp3, just make sure to select to burn audio cd instead of data cd, and then it will play on all cd players.

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_PEOPLE_CHUCK_BERRY?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2016-10-18-09-54-23 CHUCK BERRY TO RELEASE FIRST NEW ALBUM IN MORE THAN 35 YEARS ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Ninety-year-old rock 'n' roll legend Chuck Berry is set to release his first new studio album in more than 35 years. ... Jimmy Marsala, a bassist in Berry's longtime band, suggests the new album took so long to come together because Berry wanted to make sure it lived up to everyone's expectations. His last studio album was "Rock It" in 1979. Marsala said Berry - whose writing credits include "Roll Over Beethoven," and "Johnny B. Goode" - started working on the new album as soon as "Rock It" was completed. "He was constantly working on stuff all the time, on airplanes, writing lyrics down, always coming up with new ideas - 'Let's try this, let's try that,'" Marsala said. ... this marsala guy sounds like an excellent spokesman.

ok, it's probably hawkins, but at his most mundane. maybe he was ill. but sophisticated lady from the same show sounds fine. -

post-retirement miles gave video interviews all the time. it's the pre-retirement audio interviews that can be counted on one hand. no video interviews from pre-retirement.
-
it's very simple. you've got graham telling us how great he is because he got jh to stop messing around and play a spectacular set. what graham didn't count on was that in the future, all the shows from the 2 nights would be released, at least in boogleg form, and his lie would be exposed. quite the visionary, since i'm sure he knew that all the shows were recorded.
