    I have heard him live several times & he was just fine. Most of his CDs are very good also IMHO. BTW, he's much more interesting to me than the much lauded & touted Kamasi, who bores me.

    I don't see it as a "jazz" promotion. According to many that would just turn people away. Seems more like a Flying Lotus type of thing as the audience being sought.
