It's the American way. It's the Tzadik way. That label has some hilariously overblown descriptions of its product. But it is a great CD.
  7. Saw this band live approx. 2 1/2 years ago. They were excellent. I'm looking forward to this new studio CD.
  8. David Fulmer: Rampart Street
  9. Per Petterson: Out Stealing Horses
  10. True Blood - almost caught up on Season 3 which we've had on DVR.
  11. So - when is Subject To Change going to be reissued on CD? Good question. There is no date for a CD issue. A digital issue will likely appear on ITunes before it does on CD. Do you have the LP? My turntable is long gone, never to return. Sold all of my vinyl years ago.
  12. So - when is Subject To Change going to be reissued on CD?
  13. How about Roy Haynes & / or Henry Grimes??
  14. I got it too, & I agree.
  15. In no order: Jimmy Giuffre Pee Wee Russell Anat Cohen Don Byron
  16. Dan Chaon: Await Your Reply
  17. Never saw Ernie Henry. Did see all of the others on my list.
  18. My next 5 after Ornette would have been Ernie Henry, Bunky Green, Jackie McLean, Pepper & Threadgill.
  19. They're slow, but I just received my Lowell Davidson & Don Cherry CD's from the summer sale. Took about 10-12 days, & I did receive a shipping notice.
  20. Ornette Coleman
  21. Art Pepper: Stuttgart, 1981
  22. As I posted above, but you're right, it can't be emphasized enough! Yep - it's on the Mosaic. BTW, I like the whole box set a lot!!
  23. From your long list my favorites are: Sopapillas - get 'em nice & puffy, tear off a small corner, put honey inside. Churros - first experienced in Oaxaca, a few places here in Santa Fe (El Meson's have been the best) make them. Dip in hot chocolate
