This post is a little strange. I saw Frank Morgan many times in Taos at The Taos Inn. He played fine, was quite lucid & didn't seem to be stoned (although I'm no expert on that). Was very nice to the local musicians accompanying him. May have been an a**hole at other times, but not then.

No bare feet. Too bad.😎

Just ordered from Dusty Groove. Hopefully gets fulfilled. Already says temporarily out of stock, but it says my order is in process. Fingers crossed.

My wife, son & 3 grandsons are going to see Wakanda Forever this afternoon. I'm staying home.

I understand a lot of what's being said here. OTOH, I don't need ALL of my music to be "incendiary". Other emotions work too.

I used to think I was a pretty adventurous listener, & I have music by some of these artists. However I have exactly zero of the 25 listed. OTOH, I like almost everything by Dave Rempis & his various groups.

It's still nice here - 45 & sunny. Our kids are stuck in Atlanta because their connecting flight didn't arrive. Weather from Atlanta to Albuquerque is fine, but there's no plane. Hopefully they get out on the next flight in approx. 4 hours which is currently listed as "on time".

40 & sunny here in Santa Fe. Looks like we "missed" the storm.

I'm on chapter 3.

My package went from Chicago to New Jersey (for 2 days) & is now on the way back west to New Mexico.

The shipper will blame it (probably correctly) on the USPS & tell you it wasn't "sorted" correctly at the original post office.

Haven't had to use this thread in a while - BUT I have a package from Chicago (from you know who) that has moved from Chicago to New Jersey even though I'm in New Mexico. 1st class mail & supposed to arrive tomorrow. Doesn't seem likely.

You probably know that pulpo is Spanish for octopus.
