  1. Charlie Haden / Hampton Hawes: As Long As There's Music
  2. Warren Zevon: My Shit's Fucked Up
  3. Neither appeared. Announcement from the stage was that Craig Handy couldn't make it. No mention was made re: Harrison.
  4. No George Cables - reportedly ill, no details. Stephen Scott was the pianist. No Craig Handy , not sure why. Everyone played well. As expected Harper was the star. Although Eddie Henderson did a wonderful Harper ballad as a feature. McBee & Hart were fine, although every time I hear Hart he seems to play louder.

Oh - you completists. Have fun.
  6. Weird thread as it always has been.
  7. All John & Alice compositions. Excellent playing all around. 100 minute single set.
  8. Don't have it yet. Will report when I do.
  9. On my short list.
  10. I'm not sure. I do know Brandee Younger will be playing harp in the group. It's being billed as Cosmic Music Project. Checked further, & it is indeed an Alice & John "tribute".
  11. Well, I ordered the damn thing for $9.97. Whoever's getting ripped off isn't losing much (at least on this release). Shame on me, but what the hell.
  12. Some nostalgia rearing its head here. I still like what I like & dislike what I don't like. Who cares (except me)??
  13. Ravi Coltrane tomorrow night.

I really like Mesmerism. I don't always need squealing & squalling to enjoy the music. This new 3 CD set looks intriguing (to me).
  15. Me too + free shipping.
  16. Joe Fiedler: Open Sesame
  17. Joe Fiedler: Fuzzy & Blue. Oh - but you were just kidding. Talk about derailing a thread!!
  18. That was a great series.
  19. There's one with Lem Winchester that I like. R.I.P.
  20. Bombay Sapphire G & T (Fever Tree Tonic)
  21. That's the first CD I bought. All vinyl until then.
