Agreed. Been looking for it for years. Picked it up at a local record shop which made it even better. Support jazz record shops. Amazon can fend for itself.

Elvin Jones Mosaic is in constant rotation. Set is amazing. I paid a pretty penny for it.

An amazing set. Whomever picked it up, will definitely enjoy it.

As an avowed Dixon freak, I can't be objective here but the Black Saint box is wonderful IMHO. Also, pick up the Archie Shepp / Bill Dixon Quartet set. Excellent.

I really enjoyed that interview.

J&R still sells music in store (pop and R&B), but jazz is dead. I was there on Thursday. Complete reorganization of the store. Signs were coming for years. It seemed like the jazz section shrunk weekly. Good, knowledgeable people worked the floor too. I hope they were reassigned elsewhere, but I doubt it.

I'm looking for Elvin Jones Complete Blue Note Recordings by Mosaic. EBay and Amazon Marketplace list used copies for an expensive price IMHO. Hoping forum members with copies are not as predatory. :-)

Diz Mosaic is a whole lot of trumpet. I enjoy it quite a lot.
