  1. Out Of The Past - Jacques Tourneur (1947)
  2. Near perfect composition though.
  3. It's A Wonderful Life - Frank Capra (1946)
  4. Chernobyl final part. Extraordinary, sad, enlightening and just plain brilliant tv drama. I think this is so good it will eventually be ranked alongside the likes of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy as one of tv's finest hours.
  5. Forsaken - Jon Cassar (2014) Formulaic but very watchable. Certainly warrants a second look. Cape Fear - Martin Scorsese (1991)
  6. Cop Land - James Mangold (1997) Great cast, even the small parts are name actors.
  7. The Age Of Innocence - Martin Scorsese (1993)
  8. What an amazing surprise. Wish it had been a full season but it finally gives the great series the proper farewell it never had.
  9. All Is True - Kenneth Branagh (2018) Reflective look at Shakespeare's home life after he stopped writing. Great cast with acting to match. Especially noteworthy is the beautiful digital photography using natural light and candle lit interiors. Things have moved a long way since Barry Lyndon and NASA lenses. I really liked it.
  10. Haven't played this for ages. Sounds great, positively popping out of the speakers.
  11. Brooklyn - John Crowley (2015) Collateral - Michael Mann (2004)
  12. Final part of the trilogy.
  13. Heard this yesterday while marveling at the goodies in Disk Union Kichijoji Audio Shop. Of course it was playing on an impossibly amazing set up. I was so mesmerized I didn't realize that I had the set at home
