Intense indeed. Glad I didn't give up on Lost, season five was hypnotic. If they can continue this momentum through the final season then Lost could become a great SF classic.

If you bought a package from a shop then you should be able to reinstall it easily. If you bought it online then I have no idea what would help. I'd suggest that you forget about Norton. it won't protect you from a serious virus attack.I used to use it and the first time my pc was seriously attacked it was useless in cleaning out virus. 24 I laughed at the scene where John Voight, arrested for treason, conspiring to overthrow the US govt, possession of weapons of mass destruction, mass murders etc etc is given some quiet time , alone with his brief.No hovering guards,, no chains and orange jump suit, no surveillance cameras. Beyond incredible !!

Me too. I got lost after about thirty minutes, dozed off and couldn't seem to pick up the plot again. Will try again soon. Funny thing is I didn't have that problem with ' Primer', which was even more mind bending. Gotta love the time travel/slip genre though. Last night watched 'The Long Voyage Home'. It's not one of my favourite Ford's but features stunning cinematography from Greg Tolland. That prompted me to watch 'Directed By John Ford', a documentary by Peter Bogdonovich.It didn't really tell me much that I didn't already know but was very interesting nevertheless. Great to hear John Wayne, Martin Scorsese. Clint, Maureen O'Hara. James Stewart etc talking . Full of anecdotes.

No 1 Ladies Detective Agency pilot. Jill Scott can act as well as being a great singer.

In Treatment , new season episodes one and two. Finished Little Dorrit, which I'd rank among the best Dickens productions yet from the BBC. Absolutely brilliant and highly recommended. The cast is superb and use of digital filming really adds an extra sense of realism making it better and more interesting than a lot of films I see.

There are still a lot of good record shops here with a pretty stellar selection available. The small mom and pop shops in the suburbs have all but vanished though. On my occasional trips back to UK I'm quite stunned at the dismal selection of cds, and find it hardly surprising that purchasing on line is taking over there.
