Sea bream, pan fried in olive oil. Olive oil, lemon, dijon mustard & mint dressing.
Tomato, lettuce, green beans and cucumber salad.
Daikon and squid dish, rice.
For dessert a large chocolate eclair and apples.
I haven't got any sidebars but Firefox 3 seems to be working very smoothly. The file download manager is better than the previous version . Either version is superior to Microsoft Explorer ( yuck )
I wouldn't make the same choices but I'm with you in spirit.
Those of us who obsess on music worry far too much that what we like must also be 'important' or 'significant'.
I don't often comment on music threads but I do agree on this. I can play Lucky Thompson, Bud Powell, Martha & The Vandellas, Joni Mitchell and Radiohead back to back without giving a second thought.
I'm puzzled by this so called survey.
They claim that $1.5 million will buy you a one bedroom ' studio apartment' in Tokyo.
According to my brief survey of local estate agents, half of that, say $700,000 , would buy you a nice little detached house in suburban west Tokyo, the nicest part of the city maybe. From there a $2.00 train fare would have you in Shinjuku within 25 minutes.
I've also watched it from Episode 1.
I almost gave up at one point, but season 4 was excellent, although I don't think they'll be able to resolve the plot.
My guess is it will end like 'The Prisoner'.
Just when you thought the BluRay vs Hidef war was over, Toshiba have come up with this potential winner.

Excellent show.
But I thought there were only 5 seasons...I must have missed a few!
Right. I've got up to series nine but there are more available out there. Check the Amazon link.

Seasons 1-9 of A Touch Of Frost. The only show I'd put on par with Morse.
Season 1 of Waking The Dead. I thought I'd like this but started having second thoughts when the missus and I guessed the villian after about 15 mins, in every show ! . Well intended but unsatisfactory. Do the subsequent series improve, I wonder ?
Started watching season 1 of One Foot In The Grave. excellent up to now.
I've just heard . Awful news indeed. He was one of the few directors who was also a convincing actor, Husbands And Wives and Eyes Wide Shut come to mind. He radiated warmth and humanity.
I've got a Panasonic Viera LCD TH-32LX-75S. It's what I've always wanted in a tv, I can't praise it enough.
The Sony Bravia is also excellent but I thought the Panny had the edge.
I'll get to this one day. Have you read The Night Watch, also by Waters? I enjoyed it, though I admit it left me wanting more (perhaps an epilogue that returned to "the present" after WWII and explained a few more details). But on the whole very interesting.
No, this is the first book I've read by her. I might try Affinity next.
