  1. Good points Soul Stream. The hecklers did provoke Richards. If they didn't like the act they should've bailed and asked for their money back instead they chose to act like assholes and morons. That being said I feel Richards was way out of line to put it mildly. For a highly paid professional he should have conducted himself better. Asking the bouncers to do their job would have been a more desirable option or paying the idiots their money and telling them to hit the door instead he reacted like he did. Personally I don't hate Richards but I hate what he did. Despite his claims to the contrary I think he is a racist just like Mel Gibson is anti semitic. I'm afraid he revealed the truth the other night but that's about as much as I'm going to judge him.I'll admit and not proudly that my own house is not exactly in order.
  2. Good enough to be Indy and there might be plenty more where that came from. With a banged up NFC East the Cowboy's chances are looking good to win the division.
  3. Thanks for the heads up.
  4. Now I hear that Colletti wants to sign Juan Pierre to a 5 year 45 million dollar contract. Ned may need to be drug tested. That was an outrageous amount of money to spend on Nomar. Hopefully he wont break down before the contract is up but I'm not optimistic.
  5. Enjoy. You too shall recover.
  6. Gee thanks that colonoscopy party is something I"m really looking forwar to. On your birthday party you're making the right decision. You may bounce back slow but you'll bounce back. Hell you only go around once-go for it!!!
  7. Put a fork in Richards because he's done.
  8. How about the time honored "She Wants To Sell My Monkey" or "The Monkey Speaks His Mind".
  9. Ordered the book. Awaiting it's arrival.
  10. Michigan-the BO factor.
  11. There's talk of the Dodgers resigning Nomar Garciaparra to a two year deal. Personally I hope that they don't . Nomar was great at the plate and did a better than expected job at first but Nomar started to break down towards the end of the year and he was out at the beginning of the year. It seems that every time you turn around Nomar is injured. For the kind of money he would command who really needs that kind of risk besides-don't laugh-I think James Loney is major league ready or very close. I also understand that Boston is taking a look at Eric Gagne-I don't know how you feel about that Dan but remember two words-Darren Dreifort.
  12. RIP to the great lady.
  13. I really came to appreciate hockey when I saw it in person and I enjoy it on tv and radio except when Colorado is sucking-like thet are right now.
  14. Consider it done.
  15. The work aspect is not a problem. I found my calling sometime ago. Next up-the pursuit of happiness.
  16. I don't know if he would come to your house and play it but if you were in the right place at the right time like Gary Moore was he might give it to you.
  17. I hope the Red Sox ownership does have deep pockets because Boras is going to hold that pitcher for ransom. Throw JD Drew into the mix and Boras is going to have to build his own bank to hold all that money.
  18. As far as I'm concerned Lee made it out of Miles shadow.
  19. A brewski for youski Weizen. Happy Birthday!!!!
  20. Happy Birthday Eric.
  21. Nah.Let JD underachieve for the Padres for a whole bunch of money and I still wouldn't put it past the Yanks to go after Drew even with an outfield glut just because they could. Collecting high riced and over priced ballplayers seems to be Steinbrunners hobby.
  22. It will be all warm and fuzzy with Sheffield for awhile but it he'll probably revert back to his usual form and start spreading his poisonous crap in the clubhouse. TO with a different name.
  23. I know it wasn't fabricated but for the life of me I can't see how Drew had a 100 rbi's. Every time I tracked the team it seemed like he was striking out or stranding runners and as for his vaunted defense it seemed like every time I saw him he was chasing down a ball and I don't think I ever saw him throw out a baserunner. As far as intensity goes Drew will never be mistaken for Jim Edmonds-marshmallow is the word that comes to mind. Ned Colletti blew him off and so am I. No doubt Boras and JD will find somebody else that they can make a fool of.
  24. Oh hell Dave don't worry about the prospects. The Yanks will eventually trade them and take on somebody's inflated salary-maybe JD Drew.
