After reading all the good things that the board members have said about this in the past I was planning on buying this but obviously this isn't going to happen now and whenever it does come out I probably will not purchase this. LaRoca can take his war drums and thump them down the road afaic.
Is this a midwestern thing? I was sitting in a restaurant in Pagosa Springs a few years back just a short distance from a family from Iowa. Apparently someone in their party ordered some "Mexican" food. When the order was produced the person who ordered it looked at the Guacamole and asked "What's this green stuff?". Somehow I managed not to laugh out loud.
Unlike Allan Lowe and Weizen I like the instrument just fine but once again to each their own. Players I like on the instrument, in no paticular order, are Trane, Gary Bartz,Steve Marcus and Paquito D'Rivera.
Some well deserved winners in the jazz categories but I have not watched the grammies in years . For the most part I consider the overall process a sham.
uhhh...that's not jimmy.
I right clicked the picture and the guy over the key board apparently is Jimmy Smith. The picture was identified as "Wes and Jim".
Thanks for the info. As far as I'm concerned he'll always be more alive than the overwhelming majority of performers with a lot more money and a lot more fame.
Not a bad one in the bunch but at this point I'm gonna GET UP OFFA THIS THING and give props to the hardest working man in show buisness MR.JAMES BROWN!!!!!
Female singer-Irma Thomas-still sounding good and keeping it real!!!
