  1. Yessir. Homemade mashed taters, too. YUM!
  2. Made fried chicken last night and put a quick rub made of 1 cup of salt, 1/4 cup of pepper, and a 1/4 cup of garlic powder. Then you do the obligatory egg dip, flour / pepper dip, and fry. Good stuff. The salt/pepper/garlic powder made a nice difference.
  3. Seriously, should I be concerned? And who is that in your avatar?
  4. Yep, 8 years. And we're still not making a dime.

  7. Man, $800 is a steal. Someone got lucky.
  8. Considering the first one and the third one were reviewed by a different person than the second, it's kind of hard to apply any sort of continuity to the reviews. That said, I'm just happy we have reviews of all three records on All Music. That's pretty cool!
  9. I say we not only regenerate the wooly mammoths, but we also bestow upon them a super-human intellect with which they shall become our overlords and lead us into a new age of Enlightenment.
  10. Buyers can't get negative feedback?! How does that make sense?
  11. This is a bad nightmare, right? Iverson? Pistons? No Billups? Say it ain't so, Joe.
  12. He closed it down to focus on Nessa wines: http://www.tienda.com/wine/products/wn-118.html We saw a bottle of this at a great corner store in Chicago the other week.
  13. I noticed I now have a 100% feedback rating on eBay. I have two negatives from a few years ago; did they just drop those? What happened?
  14. Why, oh why, do I insist on eating ice cream? It's killing my gullet right now.
  15. And the Lions still suck.
  16. No, the dough she used just didn't cut it. I'm not sure what it was, but it was not so good and not from scratch. Tonight we had my sister, her 18-month old daughter, and her husband over for dinner. I made a pork roast with a neat glaze I found online (sugar, vinegar, water, soy sauce, and a little corn starch to thicken... yum!), mashed potatoes, and brussell sprouts with bacon. It was super yummy. For dessert, homemade apple pie made by yours truly.
  17. Dude, he's a jazz musician. He'll teach private lessons.
  18. Dude, go take lessons. An opportunity like this is once in a lifetime!
  19. HA! I had no idea they animated Get Your War On. That is some funny stuff!
  20. Damn, bro. That's cold. Real cold.
  21. No, but there is some grease in the crease.
  22. I have a copy of Groovadelphia that had a bent cover when I pulled it out of the box. I bent it back, but now there is a crease in the cover. I can't sell it as new, so I thought I'd offer it to someone here. $7, includes shipping to the US.
  23. That would help, yes. Also, if your radio has the capability to control a CD changer, you can sometimes use that input as an auxillary input. I had an after-market Pioneer single-CD player in my Plymouth Voyager that has CD changer controls. It has a weird multi-pin connector on the back for the CD changer, but I was able to find an adapter cable that let's me connect a standard 1/8" headphone type jack, which gives me an aux in to my radio. In my other van, I use a tape adapter.
