  1. can you make that retroactive? Yes!
  2. Oh... well in that case, I have lots of lead paint around that's exposed, some wiring exposed, a couple of good long hard stairways to fall down, and doors that weigh about 100 lbs. a piece that can slam shut on little fingers. Good enough?
  3. Oh yeah, 40-22. Poor, poor, Patriots. Hey, read the thread title, willya?
  4. Thank you! My sister works at Target, so I'll ask her about them. Also, my grandparents have a membership to Sam's Club so I can get with them as well. Excellant!
  5. Is that a letter to you from jazzshrink?

  11. Another reason to throw out my TV.
  12. I was out yesterday looking for interlocking foam mats that you can put down on your existing floor (in my case, hardwood) to give your child something soft to play on (in my case, fall down on since little Zora is standing already... she's crazy). I'm looking for something like this: http://www.thematking.com/residential/recr.../kiddy-play.htm Those look nice, but a little expensive. They had some at the local Toyz R Us but they were electronic, meaning the had touch activated sounds in them and such. That would drive me insane. They were about $50 for a 6x6 area. I figure something without all the bells and whistles (literally) should be about half that much. Any ideas?
  13. He has been a sideman on a lot of dates playing organ. I cannot think of any off the top of my head...
  14. Ugh. I tried to listen to some samples on the JazzDepot site (home to Joe Fields' numerous labels) and they are in Real Media format. Christ, people still use that? C'mon, Savant... mp3 has been the world standard for some time now.
  15. Fran's 3rd post is a Bush zinger! Me likey!
  16. I'll have to look for this. I really like LeDonne's organ playing. Thanks, Dan!
  17. We Organissimites are too honest, it seems.
  18. SLSLAPAP BABACKCK BABABYBY!!
  19. The dark side's callin' now, nothin' is real She'll never know just how I feel From out of the shadows she walks like a dream Makes me feel crazy, makes me feel so mean Ain't nothin' gonna save you from a love that's blind When you slip to the dark side you cross that line On the dark side, oh yeah On the dark side, oh yeah
  20. Ha! How cute! I came up from practice with Joe and she was typing away on the laptop. I peeked around and recognized the orange and purple and said, "What are you doing?" "Nothing!" she says. I'll have to hook her up with her own login.
  21. I know I shouldn't be using Jim's login, but I couldn't help but add a thought...this is his wife, Alison... I grew up watching too much TV. I could tell you the order that shows came on the tube at 9 years old. I knew every episode of every show that existed. But there have been times in my life that I didn't watch any or very little, but I do confess that it is a nice release after working all day. Sometimes I just watch Jeopardy and then whatever follows. Sometimes I am choosy, other times I mindlessly watch stupid stuff. It does bother me sometimes. I watched quite a bit while I was pregnant and then recovering from the c-section. But I understand why Jim doesn't want us to watch. I don't want to give it up entirely, but I will cut down. After Jim placed this topic, he came to bed and told me (while I was asleep) that he was only watching 4 hours max a week. I knew he was serious! The three of us did have a wonderful time at the bookstore the other night. We rarely do anything on a work night. I loved the idea and I would like to do it more. Thanks for letting me write in.
  22. It's a turntable, my friend! The picture doesn't have a tone-arm on it because you purchase one seperately.
  23. You guys need to chill. He already has 11 posts and only one in the Offering & Looking For section. I for one say WELCOME!
  24. My sister had a baby on Saturday!! We thought she would be here on Friday, but no such luck. A beautiful baby girl, Sophia Anne Jones. Now Zora has a cousin! YAY!
  25. I'm having a hard time already not turning the TV on to catch the Lions game....
