  1. I don't think an "ignore" function exists in this software at the moment. There's only 240+ members. It's not too hard to ignore your neighbors at this point!
  2. Hopefully it will die a slow, painful death. The record, not her. She's cute and all, but that's about it.
  3. Yeah, I know they won't get far in the playoffs vs. the western conference, but you have to give them props for what they have accomplished with no real standout stars. Central Conference champs two years in a row and now Eastern Conference champs. I think that's worthy of some praise. Here's to Big Ben coming back!!
  4. How about this one: "Internet community of jazz loving computer-literate music fans with access to the world wide web and large collections of jazz that discuss, pontificate, and generally eschew upon the delicacies of said music while surfing the web in cyberspace land". Now that's some inefficient shiz-nit, beeeeatch!
  5. Anything with Sarah Brightman on it should be sent back to the hellfire from whence it came.
  6. I would just like to mention that my college buddies and I did this game in the van on the way to Florida. Obviously, since we were driving, we weren't drinking, but it was fun nevertheless. It wasn't strictly jazz musicians either, since I was the only guy who liked that music anyway. But I have to say that I kicked everyone's ass at that game. Mainly by naming musicians they never heard of. They kept saying, "You're just making this shit up!" and then I'd give a short biography of the artist I just named.
  7. Yo, welcome to the hiz-zouse, b... hope you like da crib.
  8. Good to know you're still kickin' life in the ass. When it rains it pours, eh?
  9. Yay! You used my new emoticon!!!
  10. Hey Joe, what about that Billy Squire video?
  11. That's too bad. No accounting for taste.
  12. Well, if you haven't heard the MXL mics I strongly suggest you order a MXL2001 mic pack (which includes the 2001 and the 603S) and try them out. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. The engineer who suggested them to me is very trustworthy and has incredible ears. He designs studios and monitor speakers in his "spare" time and like I said before, owns a pair of every expensive mic you can name. I trust his judgement and by his account, you can get one helluva mic for $150! They are worth checking out by anyone, but especially someone on a tight budget.
  13. Or maybe... just a thought... we can not worry about 50 year old recordings and start buying new music!!
  14. Thank you Chuck. Much obliged.
  15. Does anyone here on the board know how to contact Bob Porter?
  16. Dood, Loc'd After Dark is TIGHT, bro!
  17. I emailed Guy about doing an organ summit of some sort to raise money for this cause. I know that Organissimo would be honored to participate and I imagine other organists/organ groups would be as well.
  18. Ladies and gentlemen please welcome my mentor and one of the baddest organ players around, Mr. Doug Decker to the forums!!!! So you're in Honolulu right now? For how long? We used the direct box last night at Billy's and put it through the main PA for bass. IT ROCKED!!!!!!!
