  1. I would, but I'm not in Michigan right now.

    Ahem...

Jeez - and there I am in that thread calling attention to her "hot sister".
  3. Dude - it's the Mahavishnu Orchestra. Everything was on "10".
  4. She was in Chicago not too long ago. Wish I would have known about that beforehand.

    Suzanne Vega

Strangely, I was thinking about that Tom's Diner remix just yesterday.
  6. :rsly: Hmmmm.....
  7. Put me on record as liking Visions of the Emerald Beyond. It's a fun album with some great playing. I think it was the second MO I'd heard after Birds of Fire. p.s., I had a couple of music lessons at MSU with Ralph Armstrong, the Detroit bassist who played on Visions. He stressed reading a lot. He was very encouraging to Jim and myself.
  8. Allen Holdsworth maybe?
  9. We're hearing from everyone BUT the Chicago folks.
  10. My Goals Beyond is a little hard to find. Still haven't scored my copy.
  11. I can tell you he has little faith in "the Market" to fix our problems. Also, none of the energy sources in that table are as versatile as oil - petroleum products are EVERYWHERE - and that some of these are quite possibly net energy losers. Biofuels require massive petrol inputs, and also take farmland away from food production. Shale oil up in Canada requires tons of natural gas to process; which we will still need to heat our houses with. J.H. Kunstler is pretty forthright in his assertions; time will tell.
  12. This is Kunstler's message in the short form. He's definitely bracing for the worst. I'd imagine his book discusses the economics of energy (whatever that may be) in depth.
  13. Who said he was a Christian? All the sleeve says is "Cecil Todd, The Voice of Revival Fires". Maybe he wanted it to say come to hell, rather than "go". (insert Satan smiley)
  14. The "business at hand", so to speak?
  15. That's Mondo Grosso, who I gather was the premier Japanese "Acid-Jazz" of the 90s. Good stuff, and a group/scene I wouldn't mind checking out at leisure in the future. But Monday's moved way, way beyond that... Obviously - I just thought you might like to see her "in motion". Tough duty, man.
  16. But Tuesday's just as bad.
  17. Wow dude - the floor looks kickaaaassss!
  18. Enjoy a taste of Monday live: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ee2W45rJdrM&sea...onday%20michiru
  19. The Man. Have a great one, brother!
