  1. Have Fred and Jeff recorded together?
  2. There's not much left, I'm afraid.
  3. Today was the happy day!
  4. Wonderful shots, as always.
  5. "Just" a salad: romaine lettuce, parsley, roasted almonds, raisins, avacado, Danish feta (the best, afaic), and some albacore tuna, topped off with a taste of Cardini's Italian dressing. YUM! Now if I can keep myself out of the chocolate chip cookie brittle that Alison made for me and Randy.... (once I start with that stuff, I don't stop).
  6. Noj is reading this thread as I type. Had to mention how cool it was to have a member of the org family doing the artwork for the latest CD. And I think it looks great, too.
  7. I've gotten a hell of a lot out of this board, too. Things to think about, things to laugh about, and things to listen to. But the friends I've made here (a few of whom I have yet to meet, including a certain "dinosaur rider" with a penchant for snappy one-liners) have been the real gift.

Hmmm...I honestly can't think of anything "along the lines" of recent PMG that I could recommend. But for something a little different, I was just checking out Cuong Vu's new album yesterday, and that sounds pretty good. Bill Frisell plays on it. Kurt Rosenwinkel is a favorite guitarist of mine, and his recent albums have a yearning sort of vibe kind of like some of Pat's music.
  9. Um, apparently it's when you plunge a sword into his chest. Don't do that!
  10. Because of their reputations I purchased "Dharma Days". Sorry. SHoulda went with The Next Step. Kurt as leader turns me on way more than Mark.
  11. It's a good one - especially that organ trio. I'd almost rather have a whole set with that group. Pullen was killin'.
  12. All right! Have fun, Chris.
  13. Personally, I don't. It is what it is.
  14. I can't worry about being "better than" or "the best". All I can do is continue to better myself. The journey is the goal.
  15. Do they sell many fur coats in southern California?
  16. We waited 5 minutes for that?
  17. Jim's probably working on his kitchen and has forgotten all about this project.
  18. Sangrey's right - we're all about to be eaten by a giant muskellunge.
  19. The future's so bright I gotta wear shades. Music lives! The music business, well....
  20. Phew! We timed that one just right!
