  1. Yupp! It is not my most often played Mosaic but nice to have it on board!
  2. You can't do that?!!! Selling this great set . What a shame!
  3. The lost chords - Carla Bley, Andy Sheppard, Steve Swallow, Billy Drummond (WATT) Recommended!!!
  4. When you only sell a few hundred copies, they don't give you second albums at major labels. Sadly that disc sold very poorly. No one bought it. Try the 2003 release "Urban grooves" on 441 records. I like this one too. Sidemen are Gary Barz on alto/soprano, Eric Reed on piano and Rufus Reid on bass.
  5. BTW, did someone notice the stupid "Customer Reviews" on the Mosaic website concerning the Farlow box??! Mosaic Farlow Box
  6. Release date for us Europeans is 08/31/2004, referring to the German amazon-website. The price is € 122,90. But who wants to have this ASIN barcode number (B0002O3894) on the box… There is a short "recommendation" on the JazzEcho (Universal!) website (sorry, only in German).
  7. Woody Shaw - Bemsha swing is another 2fer released in the 90'ies and unfortunately OOP.
  8. Joe Henderson - The state of the tenor I'm not sure if this one is OOP, hopefully not. It's a great live recording from 1985. Alfred Lion loved this one too, rated it as one of the best BN recordings ever made!
  9. I'm curious if this batch of US-RVG will be the last one without copy protection.
  10. Now that's something I respect! One of the best things about America is Starbucks....
  11. That's the reason why I hate "The Golden Gate Quartet"!
  12. Yupp, ... with an addition. I also like both Vanguard Live dates: "On This Day...At The Vanguard" & "Live at the Village Vanguard" (2CD).
  13. Jazzmatazz reports Blue Note will reissue a 3CD Chet Baker set. Couldn't find any information regarding this set. Will it cover all the live dates or all studio sessions (former Mosaic sets)? Maybe it's a collection of unreleased sessions or is it a hugh "Best of Chet" ? Anyone with any infos???!
  14. The next ECM live recording of the Keith Jarrett Trio will be released on August, 31. It's a live session from 2001 (recorded in Munich, Germany). They are all brilliant musicians and the music they created for decades are great. But I'm not sure if I really need another Jarrett live date.
  15. Sent you an eMail!
  16. VME overview Hans, This link is not really helpful but you can use it as a shopping list.
  17. you're welcome Claude... but the question remains: shall I replace now some of my old Bill Evans verves or not ? Cheers, Tjobbe Tjobbe, if you have the late 80ies / early 90ies releases you have to upgrade. Are you a happy owner of the rusty Verve set you can sit back and relax ... B-) ... and repolish the box once again!
  18. Amazon.de offer almost every VERVE MASTER EDITION for € 9.99!!! Some nice music, IMO: ... and many more!
  19. >>> KLICK! <<< HMV (Japan) offer all Toshiba EMI Paper Sleeve for Yen 2.124 + shipping!

  21. That was fast! Thanks Hans.
  22. I'm just looking around (CDJapan, HMV Japan) and found some impulse! Japan releases with street date "June 04". Are these brand new reissues like the BN TOCJ-6xxx-series or 2nd Editions of older releases? Did somebody listen to them? What about the sound quality?! Thanks!
  23. 'George Shearing & The Montgomery Brothers' on JAZZLAND. I like this one!
  24. For everyone who can't await to see the OBI strip!!!
