This one is an interesting aution to start this topic:
Freddie Hubbard: Goin’ Up (MONO/DEEP GROOVE) - $256.-- reserve not met and 4 hours to go!!!
Goin' up on eBay!
TANYA The entire "One flight up" is such a great recording. The Drew original from side 2 "Coppin' the haven" is fantastic too. ***** (5 stars)
I have the LP and like the cover very much.
The Woody Shaw box was the last set reaching the 5.000 mark! All other sets going OOP after the Shaw timed out.
The Shank box for instance were sold only 3.500 times within five or six years. Unbelievable but true!
Just noticed that the Tristano, Konitz & Marsh is on the "Running low" list, together with the "New Orleans sessions".
The Blue Mitchell is now on the "Last Chance" list.
You're not alone with this idea! When the set goes on the Running low/Last chance list it will go OOP very quickly IMO!
Mosiac sets - The new investment idea!!! TM B)
I visited my local 2001 shop yesterday and bought the following 2fers for € 9.99/item:
Per Henrik Wallin - Proklamation I ... (hatOLOGY 563 + BonusCD)
Myra Melford Trio - Alive in the house of saints (hatOLOGY 2-570)
David Liebman & Marc Copland Duo - Bookends (hatOLOGY 2-587)
Highly recommended!
Must be an american writer with an american view! Here in Europe we know very well that many new ideas come from scandinavian musicians! Watch out for the more recent ECM output for instance!
Hi Dmitry,

1954 Artistry of Tal Farlow Norgran
1954 Autumn in New York Polygram
1955 The Interpretations of Tal Farlow Verve
1955 Poppin' and Burnin' Verve
1955 Fascinating Rhythm Norgran
1955 A Recital by Tal Farlow Norgran

I only know "This is Tal Farlow" (Verve Elite Edition).
I have the LP. It'a a great trio date with Ron Carter on bass and Jimmy Cobb on drums. I thought that this session was never released on CD outside Japan.
Has anyone heard rumors about a forthcoming THREE SOUNDS Mosaic box or Mosaic Select?
I don't know if I remember correctly but I think something was told on the old BNBB??!
I'm just curious . Thanks!
