....probably not a bad idea. At this time, I have the disc that I make prints from and another stored in a dark, dry place.

They charge more, don't they? ← I was just wondering if the gold discs are really better for the storage of digital photographs?

How about for digital photography? I've heard gold is better; any confirmation on this? Thanks! Mark

There was also a big booth set up at the Monterey Jazz Fest, screening people for a possible match. There were always many people in line. Festival organizers made many announcements about Michael and the disease during the three days, as did many performers. Hope they find a match soon (for all those waiting)! Mark

I heard a tune called "Man from Monterey" from a cd called Dizzy Gillespie w/ Gil Fuller and the Monterey Jazz Festival Orchestra. I can't seem to locate this cd or even find any reference to it. I love the tune and would like to hear more; anyone know of it??? Thanks, Mark

I just got an email from Bobby Broom a few minutes ago asking me if I was going to make the show; anyone know if there are any tickets available? We were chatting about Sonny's playing at this past weeks Monterey Jazz Festival (which was great) and he told me Sonny played for two straight hours a night of two late at Villa Montalvo in Saratoga; said he was just smokin'!!! Should be a great show in Ann Arbor!!! Mark

Ain's that neat? I think she would be very much impressed and even thrilled 'bout that. She's lookin' down from up above and sayin' "Look at that...I was born there, and they care...". I once knew a drummer from Philly named Byron Landham. He was playin' with Uri Caine at the time. Good guy, and better musician. Tell Philly I said hi, baby! ← ...Wookie plays with Joey DeFrancesco at this time (among others)!

Speaking only for myself, I am more likely to buy if the price is posted. I'm sure this may be a lot of work; just my preference. I wouldn't buy something in a store if it didn't have a price on it.....again, just a "thing" with me!!! But.....welcome aboard and good luck....stick around a post a bit! m~

I just noticed he's got a link to Bobby Broom on the "resource" link; if you click on Bobby's site, there is one of my photographs on it. Go through the "intro" it's the black and white of him with a hat on, head back, eyes closed. m~ ps. Saw Sonny and Broom in Monterey a fews days ago; Sonny can still play as what seemed like a 15 minute solo in his first tune of the night would indicate!!!
