  1. The difference in the two games yesterday highlighted the quality disparity between the AFC and the NFC. Anyone watching NFC games throughout the season witnessed a lot of bumbling, stumbling and fumbling! I knew the Colts defence could get it together for a playoff game or two.
  2. To keep track of our picks, TD, you have to go back to the first page of this thread. We just edit out the previous week's picks and update them for this week.
  3. Still waiting for Allblues and Edward.
  4. I'm in. How many points for the following rounds?
  5. and SS1 would have been clear winner if he didn't like the Browns...
  6. It hurts, but I have to agree with you. The wheels have fallen off the Bear's little orange wagon. Can somebody find who body-snatched the team that played the first half of the season, because these guys are just imposters... You can't discount the effect that injuries have made on the Bears D. I don't remember all the names, but they've lost one of their starting safeties, their starting nose tackle, and a linebacker. I believe there are a few other important injuries as well. The Bears D has weakened owing to attrition. We New England fans know all about that. We've been fairly fortunate regarding injuries so far this season.
  7. Coltrane's Complete Impulse box set.
  8. New England will win today despite their starters likely only playing a half of football. Stick a fork in the Steel Curtain; they are done! Congrats to either SS1 or Edward for winning the pick contest. How about picking for the playoffs too?
  9. Irrelevant because neither of you will finish first. Conn's gonna finish on top after this weekend's games.
  10. Call the company, Mark to make sure everything is set. They've got to make some kind of internal adjustments before any calls can be made. You can also purchase international-friendly services for a temporary period while she's over there.
  11. Happy Birthday! Alex.
  12. Beautiful story, Jerry.
  13. David, are you getting along OK in light of your recent health probs? I'm doing ok, the doctor says I'm doing better and I'm dealing with it. New years resolutions: make more music, read more books, listen to more music, make my day job grow.... Good luck to you in '07.
  14. It's funny, but I take new year's resolutions more seriously as I get older. I lost 7 lbs over 2006. Not enough! I would like to lose another 10lbs. Plus, I plan to read more books, and concentrate more on my job.
  15. SS1 must have thought he was picking NHL winners instead.
  16. My kid is getting older; my wife is Buddhist; I'm broke. Xmas doesn't mean much to us.
  17. KC played tough, but San Diego is just too good. I don't know if anyone will be able to stop them in the playoffs.
  18. This stuff is not on the Galaxy box?
  19. What's worse is that some of us do have the NFL Network and the games still don't come on! Apparently, the local cable company made a deal to include them in their package but then the NFL Network asked for more money at the last minute once they got contracted to show Thurs and Sat. games. The cable company balked, and we have the channel but no games. The channel without the games, btw, is worthless. It seems that they have a rolling program tape to fill the 24 hours. It's a junk channel.
  20. Lot of tough games to call this week. It's been a rough season.
