I really like this one. In a sense it picks up where Blood Sutra left off, but more restrained and controlled. Great move switching drummers...the drummer from Blood Sutra was fantastic as well, but was a bit heavy handed, which served the music on that album well. But this album sounds more together, for lack of a better word. I need to listen to it more. Vijay Iyer proves that jazz is in good hands for the next generation.
